Surrounded by caravans his entire life, Simon is never too far away from one. From hosting the online product launches, right through to heading up the Bailey Big Adventures, Simon is always involved. His years of experience will definitely help through the Sahara Challenge.

Lee Davey - Freelance journalist and Bailey brand ambassador

Challenge-loving writer, speaker, biker and caravanner. Freelance journalist for over 20 years and Bailey brand ambassador, Lee has joined previous Bailey Big Adventures like the Arctic Challenge or Bristanbul. His extensive caravan experience will be an asset when touring through the twisted roads of Morocco.

Nick Howard - Bailey Managing Director

Cycling fanatic and Bailey Managing Director for over 20 years, Nick will be joining us in Seville and prove that caravans and motorhomes really are the perfect vehicle to support your favourite hobby. You will see him cycling over the Atlas Mountains.

Nick Lomas - Director General at Caravan and Motorhome Club

Nick is the Director General of the CAMC, our trusted partner in every Bailey Big Adventure. The CAMC has always wanted to encourage as many people as possible to have leisure vehicle holidays, and for Nick, this will be the adventure of a lifetime.

A well known brand in the leisure vehicle industry, Truma has partnered with Bailey in every Bailey Big Adventure. Managing Director for their UK division, Martin has always been up to the challenge, testing Truma products all over the globe.

Lisa Minot - Head of Travel at The Sun

Experienced travel editor and writer, Lisa currently serves as Head of Travel at The Sun. Having been caravanning many times before, Lisa also spent a night with her husband Jason in our Caravan in the Sky overlooking St Paul Cathedral in London. We can’t wait to welcome them back in Morocco.

Peter Vaughan - MMM & What Motorhome Magazines Editor

Road Test Editor for MMM and What Motorhome magazine, Peter has been writing about motorhomes from the age of 14. He loves touring in France, but product testing in the Sahara is a whole new level. Be sure not to miss his magazine features about his experience once he is back from the trip.

Andy Torbet - TV Presenter, adventurer and Bailey brand ambassador

Professional outdoor adventurer, TV presenter, public speaker, author, and, alongside his partner Bex, Bailey motorhome brand ambassador. Andy has travelled all over the UK and Europe in his Adamo 75-4DL and he’s now more than ready to jump to a different continent.

Bex Biggins - Jazz singer and Bailey brand ambassador

Award-winning jazz singer, songwriter and saxophonist, Bex is also our motorhome brand ambassador. An excellent motorhome driver, you see her feature in our motorhome walkthrough videos alongside Andy. It will be great to have her behind the wheel on the roads of Morocco.

Cameron Burns - Influencer and content creator

Well-known as the face of Not Another White Box, Cameron loves vintage caravanning and to explore the quirky and unusual side of the caravan world. You can’t go any more vintage than the origin of caravanning in Sahara, so Cameron will be in his element in Morocco.

Tash Gooch - Influencer and content creator

Tash fell in love with motorhoming in 2014. In 2019, she and her husband took the plunge, sold their house, and became full time motorhomers. There is a lot we can all learn from Tash so we can’t wait to welcome her to the team in Africa. She documents her travels on her YouTube channel Life Beyond Bricks.

Nigel Hutson - Freelance journalist

Being a lifelong caravanner, Nigel’s knowledge of the industry is second to none. Together with his wife, they have experienced touring both in the UK and Europe. Nigel was also involved in the Bailey Arctic Adventure and is now about to experience the opposite when it comes to extreme weather conditions.

Alan Bond - Photographer

The man behind the lenses. You might not see Alan often, but he his responsible for most of the Bailey photography. You see his studio work on our website, brochures, etc, but location photography is where he really shines. You will be able to follow his work all over our social media channels on this and all previous Bailey Big Adventures.

Cristina Dorador - Bailey Marketing Communications Manager

Cristina is the Marketing Communication Manager at Bailey, and has been working within the company since 2015. Having grown up in Seville, Cristina is bound to know the best places to visit during our journey through Andalucía.

Jamal Naitijja - Bailey Technician

Jamal is one of the Bailey operatives that work in our factory in Bristol. Moroccan-born, Jamal has been incredibly helpful in the planning process. His knowledge will be vital as we make our way to the Sahara.

And last but not least, the team of trustworthy Bailey staff members responsible of safely driving the caravans and motorhome to Sagres, where the Sahara Challenge 2 will officially commence. With 101 years of combined service, we couldn’t ask for a better team.
