Contemporary Exterior Design
The Ascent’s pairs a Magnetic Grey Ford Transit cab with a Dove Grey and Glacier White Alu-Tech bodyshell. Fitted with Graphite and Amber graphics, white badging and black 16-inch alloy wheels to create a contemporary exterior with its own unique identity within the Bailey range.
Dometic double-glazed windows, an large sky-view window above the cab and rooflights bring natural light into the living areas. The result is a bright, open feel during the day, complemented by warm interior finishes and soft ambient lighting for evenings indoors.
A spacious rear garage is fitted to every model, with exterior access from both sides for convenient loading. Carpeted sidewalls, durable vinyl flooring, a heating outlet, internal lighting and 230V and 12V sockets make this a useful space for holiday and hobby equipment. Four floor-mounted lashing rings and bungee cord pockets help secure belongings in transit, keeping extra or dirty gear outside the living area and ready for the next adventure.
Effortless driving with every journey
Every Ascent is built on a Ford Transit chassis, powered by a 2.0-litre 165bhp engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard. Together with air conditioning, cruise control, a heated windscreen, automatic headlights and an electronic parking brake, it delivers a comfortable and effortless driving experience, whether heading away for a weekend break or embarking on an extended touring adventure abroad.
Fully adjustable, swivel Captain’s seats with armrests provide comfort on the road, while windscreen and side-window night blinds offer privacy when parked and set-up for a restful eveneing.
The 12-inch HD colour touchscreen includes satellite navigation, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. And, the Ford rear-view reversing camera and front parking sensors assist with manoeuvring making life on the road feel even more effortless.
Go Further with Lithium Power
Helping owners spend more time enjoying the journey and less time worrying about their power supply, the Ascent comes equipped with a new 150Ah VARTA lithium-ion leisure battery, bringing lithium technology to Bailey’s motorhome range for the first time.
Lighter and more durable than traditional leisure batteries, the VARTA system is designed to support extended touring while providing up to 20 times the lifespan of comparable alternatives. Built-in Bluetooth and CAN bus connectivity also allow owners to keep track of battery performance, health and status through the VARTA app or the on- board vehicle system.
Working alongside a Truma 200W lightweight flexible solar panel, helping to recharge the battery during the day and supporting extended time away from electric hook-up, the Ascent gives owners greater flexibility when choosing where to stop and stay.
To support modern touring lifestyles, every Ascent is also equipped with a 20A battery charger, mains connection lead, multiple 230V sockets, USB and USB-C charging points throughout the vehicle. Whether settling in for a longer stay or making an unplanned stop along the way, the Ascent’s onboard power systems are designed to provide the freedom and flexibility to travel with confidence.
Modern Interiors, Made for Touring
Inside, the Ascent has been designed to create a bright, welcoming environment that feels just as comfortable at the end of the day as it does setting off in the morning. Drawing on its continental inspiration, Natural Oak and Charcoal furniture is paired with Dune soft furnishings to deliver a warm, contemporary living space, while Onyx worktops and matte black detailing add a premium finish throughout.
The Ascent range is fitted with durable Dark Oak flooring designed to withstand everyday touring life and removable Dove Grey carpets add warmth underfoot in cooler seasons. From the lounge to the washroom, carefully coordinated finishes create a cohesive interior that feels more like a contemporary living space than a traditional motorhome.
