Best Towcar 2026: Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year Results

The search for the UK’s best towcar has been settled. The Caravan and Motorhome Club has announced the results of its prestigious Towcar of the Year 2026 Awards, where Bailey caravans once again played a central role in testing.

Now in its 43rd year, the competition took place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, in July, with an independent panel of expert judges assessing 33 vehicles from leading manufacturers. Each car was rigorously tested across a range of demanding conditions – from high-speed stability assessments to emergency stops and challenging hill climbs.

This year marked the 25th consecutive year that Bailey has partnered with the Caravan and Motorhome Club to supply caravans for the competition. A total of 10 Bailey caravans were used throughout the event, once again demonstrating Bailey’s reputation for strength, durability, and exceptional towing performance.
