Take on Scotland
Along the way, we put the all-new Endeavour B62 campervan and Autograph 79-4XT motorhome to the test, discovering the breathtaking scenery and unforgettable experiences that make Scotland a dream destination for touring.
The Vehicles
Autograph 79-4XT
With its spacious, open-plan layout, the Autograph 79-4XT was the perfect base for the Bailey team’s Scottish adventure. The large front lounge, fully equipped kitchen and huge fridge made cooking, dining and relaxing easy, while the twin single beds provided a comfortable night’s sleep.
With generous internal storage, large external lockers for gear and equipment, and a generous payload, the 79-4XT offers all the space and practicality needed for life on the road.
Endeavour B62
At just under 6 metres long, the Endeavour B62 was a dream to drive, with its compact size making it easy to manoeuvre on Scotland’s winding roads. Quick and easy to set up on site, it left more time to enjoy the adventure.
Despite its compact dimensions, comfort isn’t compromised. The rear lounge with parallel bunks could be configured as a double bed or two separate singles, giving two members of the team their own comfortable sleeping space. Plus, with a lithium battery fitted as standard, the Endeavour B62 is well equipped for off-grid adventures.

The Campsites
Planning your own NC500 adventure with a caravan, motorhome or campervan? For our Scottish trip, we stayed at a selection of campsites from the Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) network. Here’s where we stayed and what we thought of each site to help you plan your own journey.
Culloden Moor Club Campsite
A fantastic site with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful wardens. Right next to woodland that’s perfect for dog walks, with a nearby sheep field that little ones will love. A great base for exploring the area.
Brora Club Campsite
A wonderfully scenic site, just a short walk from the beach through the golf course. Brora town is also conveniently close by, making it easy to pick up supplies or enjoy a meal out. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy the Scottish coastline.
Dunnet Bay Club Campsite
The most scenic of the three sites, with a stunning coastal location and spectacular views right from your pitch. Ideally placed for visiting John O’Groats and exploring the surrounding viewpoints, it’s a fantastic spot to soak up the best of Scotland’s northern coastline.
