Every pastime has a club and whether you’re into classic cars, cooking or caravanning, doing the meet & greet with likeminded folks is a simple and rewarding process. The same rule applies to owners of Bailey leisure vehicles- motorhomes or caravans – and thanks to The Bailey Owners’ Club, we spent the weekend at their biennial rally at Dyrham Park.

A couple of caravans ago, our new addition came with a motor mover and from that moment I’ve become so reliant on the humble mover that my first mission was to have one fitted. Our night in the Truma cold chamber also involved a factory tour and after chatting with the tech team, a Truma motor-mover was well worth the 360-mile round trip to get one fitted at their UK base.

Part 1 of my #BaileySnowSeason blog dealt with last-minute dry slope lessons, YouTube tutorials, a 1000-mile trip to Austria and a warm and comfy Bailey motorhome where I could close the door on the terrifying prospect of propelling myself down a snow-covered mountain the following day.
